PITTSFIELD- A. Maureen "Maude" (Flynn) LaValley of Pittsfield passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Berkshire Medical Center following a long illness.

Maude was born in Weymouth, MA on September 10, 1938 the daughter of the late William H. and Celestine Flynn. She graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High School as well as Berkshire Business School and worked at the Berkshire Life Insurance Company for many years. Maude is survived by her husband Richard LaValley of Pittsfield and her brother William Flynn, Jr. of Jupiter, FL. She also leaves behind her four children from her marriage to James F. Ryan (1931-1973), Michael, Kathleen, Thomas and Timothy, four grandchildren, Jennifer, Kate, James and Jack, two great grandchildren, Makennah and Corinnah, her two nieces, Christine and Melissa, and her five nephews, Paul, Peter, David, Joseph, and Patrick.

SERVICES: Calling Hours for Maude at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME will be held Thursday, September 7th beginning at 10am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 O'Clock Noon at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Michael F. Bernier, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. 

In Lieu of Sending Flowers, the family requests that friends and family who attend please bring wildflower clippings to the Calling Hours to create a flower bouquet or  Memorial Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home.
