Pittsfield- Anna M. (Drain) Jackson, 105, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Springside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Anna was born in South Hadley Falls on December 31, 1911 a daughter of the late Henry and Mary-Ellen (Malone) Drain. She started her working career with the Crane & Co. Mills, and later went on to work for over 20 years at the former First Nation Supermarkets as a Deli Supervisor. Anna loved to sew and travel, to spend time with her family, and was a long time communicant of Sacred Heart Church of Pittsfield.

Anna is survived by her daughter Patricia A. Wilner and her husband David of Port Orange, FL, and two sons, Lester E. Jackson Jr. of South Dartmouth, and Robert D. Jackson and his wife Mary of Dalton. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Lester E. Jackson Sr. in 1994, her son Michael R. Jackson, and her 10 siblings.

SERVICES: Jackson, Anna M., age 105, dies Saturday, June 10, 2017. Funeral Services for Anna will be held FRIDAY, June 16, 2017 at 1PM at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor, officiating.  A Period of Visitation will be prior to the service from 12 O’Clock Noon to 1PM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions in Anna’s Memory may be made to The American Red Cross in care of the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home.
