Anne E. O'Neill Oliver, age 87, of 64 Broadway St. Pittsfield, died Friday morning at her home after a long illness. She was born in New Bedford, July 13, 1930, she is the daughter of the late William and Ruth Mullaney O'Neill. She attended Holy Family High School in New Bedford.

Primarily a homemaker, she enjoyed raising her family and tending to their home. ' A people person ', she loved her large vegetable garden which allowed her to harvest and operate a vegetable stand. Additionally, she enjoyed doing ' her crossword puzzles'.

She and her husband of nearly 61 years, Donald E. Oliver, were married Oct. 13, 1956.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Daniel E. Oliver and his wife Karen Breen-Oliver of Cheshire, 4 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will take place at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME which has been entrusted with her care.
