Tribute

Carolyn L. Drumm, 96 years old, currently of Cheshire passed away on February 29, 2024.
She was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Arthur R. and Gladys Chace Gardner. Carolyn graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1945.
Carolyn and the love of her life, Harvey, were married in 1948 and celebrated their 74th anniversary in 2022. Their family and homestead were a source of fun and excitement on Cloverdale Street for 16 years. They attended Immanuel Community Church and First Baptist Church.
Carolyn and Harvey enjoyed square dancing with South Congo Squares; she also enjoyed painting, crocheting, ceramics, and many other crafts. Together, with their six children, they went on many camping trips visiting many East Coast Beaches, mostly on Cape Cod.
After raising her children, Carolyn was employed by Berkshire Life Insurance Company, as a claims examiner, until her retirement in 1988. She had many fond memories of the friends and times spent there. Two of her daughters went on to work there as well.
She is survived by her son Dennis Drumm and his wife Debbie Anthony of Windsor, son Harvey Craig Drumm and his wife Judy Maldonado of Irving, TX, daughter Delight Maston and her husband Larry of Cheshire, daughter Bonnie Moffitt and her husband James of Duncanville, TX and daughter Cheryl St. Pierre and her husband Michael of Pittsfield. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband, she was predeceased by their son Eric Drumm, Carolyn's brother Emerson R. Gardner, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
