Chicopee- Jeremy M. Bach, 29, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 3rd after a sudden illness.

Jeremy was born in Northampton on March 1, 1988, the son of Louis and Elizabeth (Bushey) Bach. He  was a graduate of Smith Vocational School, and later went on to make the honorable decision to join the US Army. Jeremy enlisted in November of 2010, and during his time in the military was the recipient of numerous medals, to include: the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Overseas Service Ribbon. Jeremy served proudly overseas, and upon his return home was honorably discharged in 2012. As a part of his civilian life, Jeremy worked for numerous companies as an electrician. He was last employed by Collins Electric. Jeremy also spent a large amount of his time exercising, playing soccer and softball, working on his mustang, and running with his good friend Kyle. Jeremy was also a devoted and loving father to his two daughters.. Those girls were the light of his life. Jeremy had a heart made of gold, was selfless, was courageous, and would do anything to help someone else. 

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Louis and Elizabeth Bach of Florence, MA, his two beloved daughters, his twin sister, Carolyn Bach and his other sister Jessica Bach, and his paternal grandmother, Sara Bach of South Hadley. Jeremy is also survived by his girlfriend, Christina Weisner and many other friends who will miss Jeremy dearly.

Services: Funeral Services for Jeremy will be held Friday, January 19th at 3PM at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam with full military honors.
