Benjamin Benle Honlah

Benjamin B. (Benle) Honlah, better known as Obiokutar, age 58, of 37 Brown St. Pittsfield, MA died Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.

He was born in Ghana on August 24, 1966, the son of the late Benle and Mary Akesse Honlah. 

He attended the local Elementary school and High School in Ghana. Benjamin came to the US and made his home in Pittsfield in 2010. He was employed in housekeeping services at Canyon Ranch at the time of his death.

He is survived by friends and family back home in Ghana as well as his friends here. 

Benjamin liked to perform charity work, including teaching others how to drive and helping families to settle in when they arrived in America. While in Ghana, Benjamin loved to play and coach Soccer and he helped young people with the transitioning from elementary school into high school.

Friends and family will gather at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, November 19th from 4 to 7 pm.

Following his return home to Ghana, he will be interred in the Allowuley Cemetery, in Allowuley, Ghana.
