Betty VanValkenburgh, age 78, a longtime resident of the BCARC Lakeway Drive house died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Montague, MA on November 18, 1943, Betty was the daughter of the late Dana and Louise VanValkenburgh. She attended Belchertown State School from 1953-1986 and had been living with BCARC ever since.
She was a long-time member of Crossroads Center for Enrichment and enjoyed the many programs they had to offer.

She will be greatly missed by her housemates and staff, both past and present, from the Lakeway Drive house and by her guardian of over 15 years, Janet Newberry.
