Brandon John Griffith

May 17, 1976 ~ April 6, 2021 (age 44) 44 Years Old

Tribute

Brandon John Griffith, 44, of 26 Harvard St. Pittsfield passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 peacefully in his home.

He was born on May 17, 1976 at the Jacksonville Camp Le Jeune Marine Corps Base in North Carolina. Brandon was a magnificent son and leaves his mother Jill Ann Griffith. He was a graduate of Taconic High School class of 1994.

Brandon was truly a jack of all trades. He loved woodworking and carpentry and most recently worked as a contractor for Cheynne Awnings for 15 years.

Brandon was a shining star that lit up a room, with a charm like no other. He had a resilient way about himself and somehow he always managed to get his way! He had the biggest heart which is why he made friends everywhere he went. To the friends that he loved, it was a lifelong kind of love and he enjoyed spending his days surrounded by the people he cared for.

Some of Brandon’s other hobbies included walking with his mother’s dog Buddy, fishing, four-wheeling, playing cards and going for bike rides with his children. He could often be found singing and dancing (not well) and he was known to be silly with a contagious laugh that will be dearly missed.

In addition to his mom, Brandon is survived by his baby sister, Julianna Roy, his step-father who raised him as his own, Michael Porter, his step-sister and Michael’s daughter, Shaunna Porter, and Julianna’s daughters, his nieces he loved to pieces, Cicily and Athena Roy and Aurora Jaquez.

Not only was he a wonderful Son/Brother/Uncle, but Brandon was an amazing father to his three children. He leaves his oldest child, Jacinda Griffith and her spouse Brent Barbierei, and Jacinda’s daughter and his granddaughter, Felicity Barbieri, whom he held very near and dear to his heart. He also leaves his two younger children, Treagan and Joshua Griffith and their mother whom he was once married to and still very close with, Jamie Griffith. He also leaves his lifetime best friend and Jacinda’s mother, Tonya Parker, her sister Heather Horgan and countless other beloved childhood friends who were more like brothers to him.

Brandon was predeceased by his brother-in-law and the love of his sister’s life, Richard Jaquez.
