Brian J Phillips

Brian J. “Buggy” Phillips, age 52, of 139 Francis Ave. Pittsfield, died Friday morning at Craneville Place in Dalton. He was born in Pittsfield, Aug. 12, 1965, the son of the late Carl C. and Frances J. Alexander Phillips. Educated in the local schools, he was a 1986 graduate of Pittsfield High School. “Buggy” drove for Rainbow Taxi for many years prior to his retirement due to ill health.

He loved to cook and to spend time with his family. A man known for a big heart, he especially enjoyed the company of his nieces and nephews. Never one to forget a birthday, he would always go out of his way to help his family and friends.

He is survived by his 4 brothers, Carl C. Phillips, Jr., Jeffrey L. Phillips, Fredrick M. Phillips and Mark A. Phillips as well as his sister, Sallie A. Doerle, all of Pittsfield and his many nieces and nephews.

Brian’s family wishes to thank Cranville Place for the help and support they gave him throughout his time there.

Calling hours at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME will be WEDNESDAY, Aug. 15th from 4 to 7. The Celebration of his Life will immediately follow the visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in order to help the family defray the funeral expenses
