Christopher Michael Moro

Christopher Michael Moro, age 45, of Supply, North Carolina and formerly of Pittsfield, MA passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2021.

Born in Pittsfield on March 15, 1976, Chris was the son of David A. and Judith A. (McIntosh) Moro. He was educated in the local schools and worked for Pariseau Heating & Cooling for many years. For the last 7 years, Chris and his family lived in Supply, North Carolina and he worked as a manager for Four Star Plumbing & Heating in Conway, SC.

A hardworking man, Chris did all he could to provide for his family. He was an incredible father to his daughters and a devoted husband. He was known by most to be a jokester and loved teaching his girls to be strong and independent.

He was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He loved fishing, both fresh water and ocean fishing, and that was one of the main reasons for wanting to live in North Carolina. Chris was an animal lover and he gave a home to many dogs over the years.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife Kathrine L. (Baker) Moro. They were married in 2001. He also leaves his daughters, Alexandria and Macenzie, his brother Dale A. Moro and his wife Donna of Rhode Island, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends who will all miss him dearly.

He was predeceased by his brother, David R. Moro, who passed away November 25, 2014.

SERVICES: Friends are invited to join with the family on Thursday, December 30th beginning at 11AM at the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home. A funeral home prayer service led by Pastor Bill Furey will begin at Noon followed by burial at Pittsfield Cemetery. In order to keep everyone safe, masks and social distancing will be required at both the funeral home and the cemetery.
