Deborah A. (Manns) Callahan

Deborah A. Callahan, age 74, of Harrisburg, PA and formerly of Pittsfield, MA died Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Arden Courts of Susquehanna, PA.
Deborah was born in Pittsfield and was the daughter of the late Marvin and Marlee Manns. She was retired from Herberg Middle School where she was a teacher for 33 years. Upon her retirement, Mrs. Callahan worked as an educator at the Berkshire County House of Corrections and was proud to help the individuals there to further their education.
She was an avid golfer and was a member of Wahconah Country Club for many years. Debbi was also a woman of great faith and was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Parish in Pittsfield.
Debbi is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul M. Callahan, her son, Michael Callahan, her grandchildren, Joseph and Brianna Callahan, and her aunt Mary Deblieux, who was her closest friend.  She also leaves her siblings: Charles and Kathy Manns of W. Lebanon, NH, Francis and Diane Manns, Peter Manns, all of Pittsfield, Elizabeth Manns of Clarksburg, Mary Manns of Lenox, and Walter and Ann Manns of Pittsfield. In addition to her parents, Debbi was predeceased by her sister Marlee Manns.  
Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, October 18th from 4 to 6 PM at the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 19th at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in W. Stockbridge.
