Diamond Caldwell

March 19, 1992 ~ July 17, 2022 (age 30) 30 Years Old

Tribute

Diamond Paris Mercedes Caldwell, age 30, of Pittsfield was raised to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston following heart failure caused by her chemo treatments during her courageous battle with Lymphoma.

Born in Orlando, FL on March 19, 1992, Diamond was the daughter of Carl P. Caldwell, Sr. and Jacqueline Jones. She was educated in the Pittsfield schools and then later went on to work towards her nursing degree at Berkshire Community College. She worked as a CNA for a few years and aspired to be a nurse and to help people.

Diamond was a wonderful mom and was homeschooling her two children. She was kind, sweet and had a deep love of playing tricks on her friends and family. They will always remember her radiant smile, especially when one of her tricks played out the way she wanted it to. Her laugh could be heard from blocks away.

She was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and more recently returned to her faith and loved to spread the teachings.

She and her soulmate William Massey went on many adventures together- she loved visiting the Hollywood Drive-In in New York and the Great Escape. She also loved visiting her big brother Johnny after he moved back to Florida.

In addition to her parents and William, Diamond is survived by her children Jackson Caldwell and Felicity Caldwell-Massey. She also leaves her siblings, Abrain Keiler (Edwin) of Wildwood, FL, Johnny Jones of Orlando, FL, Nehemiah Caldwell of Appoka, FL, Shonell Caldwell of Orlando, FL, Phillphel Caldwell of Winter Haven, FL, Ronnette Caldwell of Lakeland, FL and Tim Duquette of Pittsfield, MA, her second mom Denise Duquette of Pittsfield, her best friend Chrissy Sharp of Pittsfield, many nieces and nephews, her beloved King Charles Cocker Spaniel named Molly and many other friends and family who are all devastated by Diamond’s passing. She was predeceased by her beloved brother Lemond Grady on April 20, 2021.
