Donald F Messer, Jr.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Donald F. Messer Jr. of Pittsfield. He passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 72. He will be deeply missed.

Donny was a kind and generous man. He was cherished by so many people in his community. He loved all animals and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed eating and listening to music, but above all, Donny adored his family.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Don and Gloria Messer. He was a loving father to Crystal and Donny, grandfather to Matthew, Hayleigh and Jaiden, and brother to Bobby, Alex, Gloria, Pete, Joe, Alan, Jeff, Larry, Lucien and Michelle. He was a beloved Uncle, Cousin, Father-In-Law and Friend to so many.

Donny will be forever in our hearts.

Friends are invited to join with the Messer family for visitation on MONDAY, August 28th from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM at the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, folks are encouraged to contribute towards the funeral expenses in any way they can. Donations may be made over the phone by calling the funeral home at 413-445-5988 or calling to set up an appointment to donate in person.
