Edward E. "Ted" Raynor, III

May 7, 1963 ~ October 10, 2017 (age 54) 54 Years Old

Edward  E. “ Ted “ Raynor III,  age 54, of 276 Pecks Rd. Pittsfield, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 10th as a result of an injury received while working as a ranch hand at Blythewood Stables. He was born in Pittsfield on May 7, 1963, the son of Barbara St. James Raynor and the late Edward E. Raynor, Jr. After moving to Florida as a teenager, he attended the Cape Coral High School.  Ted assisted the family for many years in operating the Napa Auto Parts both here in Berkshire County as well as in Florida. Ted returned to the Berkshires in 1995 to make his home.

An accomplished pool player, he enjoyed conversing on all levels and on all subjects with anyone who he met.  Ted loved to read poetry and was a Jimmy Buffet fan…Most of all, his caring nature extended beyond his family and friends and opened a new world for him, the world of  helping to raise and tend to horses for the past 12 years.

In addition to his mother, Barbara, of St. James City, FL, Ted is survived by his daughters, Kathleen R. Raynor of Cape Coral, FL and Debbie Lynn Jones of Newton, NC, his son, Edward E. Raynor, IV of Pittsfield, and his partner Missy Utter of Pittsfield. He also leaves his brother Craig Raynor of Ft. Myers, FL, his sister, Debbie Memoli of St. James City, FL, his three grandchildren, Camden, Brooklyn and Everett, and many nieces, nephews and close friends who will all miss Ted dearly.

Raynor, Edward “Ted”, age 54, of Pittsfield, died Oct. 10th. Calling hours at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME will be MONDAY, October 16th from 4 to 7 pm with Cremation to follow.
