Eva M. (Jones) Feeley

Eva M. Feeley, age 81, of Pittsfield died Monday, August 9, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Hancock, MA on December 18, 1939, Eva was a daughter of the late Emerald and Alice (Vickery) Jones. She was a high school graduate and then worked for many years as a school bus driver. Eva retired from Dufor Bus Company and then volunteered at both Hospice Care in the Berkshires and Meals on Wheels for many years. She was a longtime member of the Irish American Club and the Polish Falcons. She loved country music, meaning the “Good Old Stuff”, spending time with her family and doing word searches. She was an animal lover and gave a home to many cats and dogs over the years.

Eva married Mr. John T. Feeley Sr. in Stephentown, NY in October of 1976. He passed away in 1991.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Donna A. Vanasse (Jeffrey) of Cummington, Patrick G. Feeley (Jen Roberts) of Adams, Michael F. Feeley (Amanda) of Dalton, MA, John Feeley, Jr. (Michelle) of Pittsfield and Carol Feeley of Pittsfield. She also leaves her grandchildren, Liam and Dawson Feeley, David O’Brien, Owen and Aryianna Garceau, Tonya Messer, Tammy Poulton, and Ythen Kaigle, and her dear friend of many years, Arnold Sears of Dalton.

In addition to  her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Richard Jones, Isabelle Corbosiero, George Jones, her infant brother Jerry Jones, and her companion Spooky the Bishon.

SERVICES: Friends are invited to join with the Feeley family for a graveside service on FRIDAY, August 13th at 2PM at St. Joesph’s Cemetery. Prayers will be led by Rev. Peter Naranjo.
