Jeffrey Clayton Wilbur, age 56, a lifelong resident of Lanesborough died unexpectedly in his home on April 13, 2022 following a long battle with addiction.

Born in Pittsfield on December 31, 1965, Jeffrey was the son of the late Richard Wilbur and Joan Keeler Wilbur. He attended Mt. Greylock High School where he is remembered as being an outstanding football player. Jeff was a coach for Lanesborough Pee Wee Football for three seasons. 

He owned his own trucking company for over ten years which he called Jeff’s Trucking. He loved racing stock cars up at Lebanon Valley and went on many cruises. His favorite place to visit was Aruba. He also loved visiting the casino and being with his family.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Wilbur, his brother, Trevor Wilbur, his uncle, “Punky” Warren L. Keeler, Jr., his aunts, Carol L. Keeler and Barbara (Don) Roche and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was predeceased by many other members of the Wilbur and Keeler family.

SERVICES: Friends are invited to join with Jeffrey’s family at the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home on Thursday, May 5th from 5-6PM for a celebration of his life. Burial will be private for the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to “The Brien Center” and mailed to the funeral home at 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA 01201
