Jennifer A. Klahn, age 50, of Pittsfield passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Berkshire Medical Center.
Born on November 6, 1970, Jennifer was the daughter of Shirley (Wilcox) Klahn and Rodney H. Klahn. She was educated in the local schools and attended Pittsfield High School. She was a fantastic athlete as a kid and was proud to have been the first girl to play Little League in the City of Pittsfield in 1980.
She worked for many years as a cashier at both Bradlees Department Store and Walmart more recently. She loved playing games, especially Bingo and the video game Resident Evil and loved to get her nails done.
She always enjoyed the many family picnics over the years and found great joy in spending time with the kids in her family. When they were younger, Jennifer would often take the kids to the pool in Lanesboro.
In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Justin R. Klahn and Courtney Bump of North Adams and their daughter Everly Klahn. She also leaves her sister, Sharon Bondini of Florida, her aunt Joyce Avery (William) of Pittsfield, her nieces Lindsay Avery of Pittsfield, Jamie Mangiardi (Richard) of Pittsfield, and Jessie Bondini of Florida, her nephews, Eric, Sean and Kyle Card, her dear family friend Carol Feeley of Pittsfield and many other family members and friends. Jennifer was predeceased by her sister, Karen Card on May 27, 2015.
The Klahn family would like to extend a special thanks to Rosewood Homestyle Assisted Living for the great care they took of Jennifer over the last 18 months.
A celebration of life will be held for the family at a later date.
