Justin Todd Lowery

Justin Todd Lowery, age 34, of Pittsfield, MA and Ballston Spa, NY died unexpectedly on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Ellis Hospital.

Justin was born in Concord, MA on December 2, 1985 a son of Charles W. Lowery, Jr. and Constance G. (Dean) Lowery. He was educated in the local Pittsfield schools and was a graduate of Taconic High School.

When Justin was younger, he loved fresh water fishing. As he got older, he learned a love of golf and would often go with his Pops. Justin was a terrific father and family man and adored the children in his life. He was also a diehard New England Patriots fan and loved music. In keeping with his love of football, Justin joined the Capitol District Flag Football League when he moved to New York State.

A former US Marine, Justin was a diligent scholar. Before his passing, he was working towards his Master’s Degree in organizational psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. He was also a talented chef and was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Justin worked for many different restaurants over the years and loved sharing stories of the kitchens he worked in.

He was fond of travelling, most especially to tropical locations. He loved the ocean and relaxing on the beach. Justin also enjoyed getting dressed up to go out to the casino and the delicious meals that so often accompanied those trips. He was also an avid animal lover.

Besides his parents, Justin is survived by his brother and best friend, Charles W. Lowery, III of Chicago, IL, his sister, Nicole Lowery of Pittsfield, two sons, Benjamin and Justin, his paramour, Nicole Nelson and her children, Paige Nelson and Angelina and John Garcia of Ballston Spa, NY, and his nephew, Jayden Lewis. He also leaves his paternal aunts, Joanne Fischer, Peggy Walters, Joyce Thompson and Gloria Lowery, paternal uncles, Wayne and Tony Lowery, maternal uncle, Ronald Dean, his cousin Bryan Isaac, dear friend Jimmy Larimore of Compton,MD, and many other cousins and friends. Justin was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mabel Lowery and Charles W. Lowery, Sr., paternal aunt Carol Lowery, maternal uncle John Dean and his cousin and dear friend, Derek Russell.

SERVICES: Calling hours for Justin will be MONDAY, December 30th from 6-8PM at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA. Funeral services will be Tuesday at the funeral home beginning at 11AM with burial to follow at Pittsfield Cemetery.

If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home to help the Lowery family to defray funeral expenses.
