Kathleen Noreen Lyon was born in Pittsfield, MA on 12/18/1944 to Sarah Cooney. Married to David D. Lyon on October 31, 1963. They had three children, David B. (deceased), Cindy of Pittsfield, MA and Jennifer of Milford, CT.

Kathleen loved her horses and loved to ride. She was highly active in the equestrian community and participated in numerous horse shows and events all over Berkshire County. She also loved to travel, going to Canada, Spain and her beloved Ireland many times but was always happy to return to her little red farmhouse where she lived for 25 years with her husband David.

In her earlier years, Kathleen taught Headstart in CT. Known for her razor sharp wit and incredible sense of humor, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

SERVICES: Lyon, Kathleen Noreen, died Saturday, July 15th at Berkshire Medical Center. Graveside Services for Kathleen will be Saturday, July 22 at 11:30 AM at her family home, located at 163 Balance Rock Rd. Lanesborough with the Rev. Matthew Guidi, pastor of North American Martyrs Chapel, officiating. The Devanny-Condron Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
