Mr. Kenneth Charles Ramsdell, age 58, of Lanesborough, MA died unexpectedly on August 31, 2022 in Manhattan NY while there for business.

Born on November 21, 1963, Ken was the son of Richard Robert Ramsdell and the late Rita May Matteson Ramsdell. He was educated in the local schools and was a 1981 graduate of Taconic High School. He went on to honorably serve in the US Air Force. Upon his discharge, Ken began his career as a medical engineer. He was a dedicated employee at Canon Medical USA for 30 plus years.

In the past, Ken was involved in City politics. He also was a fan of dirt car racing at Lebanon Valley Speedway and other race tracks throughout the country. In the last few years, Ken’s grandchildren were the light of his life. He was happy to have met his second grandchild just a few months ago.

Ken is survived by his father, Richard Ramsdell (Janice) of Adams, his wife Leanne Ramsdell, whom he married in 2004, his daughter Erika Hillian (Douglas) of San Francisco, CA, his step daughter Angela Bruno (Jonathan) of Pittsfield and his beloved grandchildren Charleigh and Carsyn. He also leaves his twin brother Kevin Ramsdell (Sue) of CT, his sister Juraye Pierson of Springfield, MA, nieces Rayelle, Amanda, and Allison, nephew Jaryn, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his mother Rita May Ramsdell and his brother Keith Ramsdell.

SERVICES: Friends are invited to gather with the family on Wednesday, September 14th from 5-7PM at the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated the following morning at St. Charles Church at 11AM with Rev. A. Peter Gregory, Pastor Emeritus officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.
