Linda Halliday-Zurrin

Linda Halliday-Zurrin, age 77, a lifelong resident of Lanesboro died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield on May 19, 1944, Linda was the daughter of the late Alfred and Josephine Pazda Zurrin. Educated in the local schools, Linda went on to work at her family’s restaurant for many years.

Linda’s husband, “Red” Russell T. Halliday died January 22, 2003. They were married on May 2, 1975.

She is survived by her brother, Andrew Zurrin and his wife Jan, formerly of Pittsfield and now of Daytona Beach, FL, her longtime best friend and caregiver, Sharon Paris and her partner Bernie Mara of Pittsfield, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Linda was predeceased by her sister, Joanne Lafave, who died November 30, 1997.

At Linda’s request, there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to “Lanesborough Fire Department” and mailed to the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home at 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA 01201
