Lisa M. Godbout

PITTSFIELD- Ms. Lisa M. Godbout, age 47, of 51 Bay State Rd., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 3, 2021.

Born in Springfield, MA on June 8, 1974, Lisa was the daughter of Celine R. Godbout and the late Jean-Claude Godbout. She was mainly raised in Becket, MA, in a beautiful home built by her late father Jean-Claude. She enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as going on new adventures. She loved hiking, walks with her beloved dogs Rocky, Marley, Buddy and Sasha. Lisa loved being outside in general, but she loved nature and cookouts with those she loved the most. She was the definition of a “people person.” She put everyone above herself without hesitation. The first thing she would show you, and the last thing you would see, was her intoxicating smile.

Lisa is survived by her partner, Jermaine D. Sistrunk, Sr. and her four children, Christian T. Fernandes, Jeremy L. Godbout, Selina M. Godbout, and Marissa P. Mineau-Godbout. She also leaves six step-children, Celina M. Sistrunk, Tamika M. Flanagan, Jermaine D. Sistrunk Jr., Dominique O. Trottier, Sareen A. Sistrunk, and Chase A. Cook, and her three grandchildren, Zander D.J. Fernandes, Willah G. Fernandes, and Ja’Lanah R. Sistrunk. Additionally, Lisa is survived by her mother, Celine R. Godbout, her siblings, Tina M. Danzy and Mario J. Godbout, two nieces, Nadia J. Danzy and Zoe J. Danzy, her nephew, Anthony I. Englyshe, and many close friends and extended family members.

Lisa will be missed dearly and will continue to be loved by many.

SERVICES: Friends are invited to join with Lisa’s family on MONDAY, September 13th at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME beginning at 11AM. A funeral home service will begin at 1PM. Burial will be private for the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Lisa’s family is accepting memorial contributions on GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses, or donations may be made directly to the funeral home.
