Mrs. M. Rosalie Condron Murray, died peacefully Friday, June 9th in the presence of loving family. She was born in Pittsfield, the only child of the late Mary Wood Condron and the late Joseph W. Condron, a long time funeral director who served our community for nearly 60 years.

A graduate of St. Joseph’s High School, she was awarded her baccalaureate degree in History from the College of Our Lady of the Elms. Primarily a homemaker, she enjoyed raising her family and tending to her home.

Her husband, long time educator and coach, William F. Murray, whom she married Aug. 14, 1954, died Feb. 9, 2016.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Mark C. Murray and his wife and Peggy, of Cleveland, Oh. and William F. Murray, Jr. of Pittsfield, her daughter, Mary J. Turner,  and her husband, Daniel of Pittsfield, her granddaughter, Mickie Turner and grandson, Ryan Turner, as well as her great-granddaughter, Meah Turner.

Murray, M. Rosalie Condron Murray, of Pittsfield ,died June 9th. Private services will be held with burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire County Chapter of the Jimmy Fund in care of the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME.
