Marlene (Coppolino) Ouellette, 71, of Pittsfield, MA, passed away unexpectedly at Berkshire Medical Center on Friday, August 13, 2021, just three days shy of her 72nd birthday.
Born in Pittsfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Martha LaFountain Coppolino. Marlene attended Pittsfield Schools and was a 1968 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She met the love of her life, Leo Ouellette, on November 22, 1963 and the two were married on May 9, 1970 in Mt. Carmel Church in Pittsfield. Together they celebrated over 51 wonderful years as husband and wife. Prior to her retirement, Marlene worked as a receptionist for Dr. Keith Bebee, a veterinarian in Hinsdale. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and knitting. Marlene was very outgoing, happy and loved by all.
In addition to her husband, Marlene is survived by her two sons and their wives, Erich and Bethany Ouellette of Powell, WY and Michael and Breanne Ouellette of Pittsfield, MA, nine grandchildren, Tyler, Trey, Noah, Isabelle, Reese, Morgan, Skyla, Ella and Lila, as well as one great-grandson and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of another great-grandchild. She also leaves her sisters, Midge Coppolino and Becky Wells, brother in law Jim Wells and numerous nieces and nephews.
