Matt Edward McEneany

Mr. Matt McEneany, age 62, of 31 East Mill St. Pittsfield, MA, died Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the Berkshire Medical Center.

Matt was born in Pittsfield on August 9, 1961 a son of the late Edward and Shirley J. (Nylic) McEneany.

Educated in the local schools, he was a graduate of Bradford High School. Mr. McEneany retired as a machine operator from the Modern Mold & Tool Company after many years of service.

Matt enjoyed freshwater fishing with his wife, Jeannine and was an avid fan of both the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He adored his family and liked to tend to his yard, feed the animals and fixing just about everything and anything. 

He and his wife, Jeannine Poulin McEneany were married July 10, 2009.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Adam McEneany of Pittsfield, 4 daughters, Alicia Hernandez of Summerville, SC, Samantha LeFebvre, Jasmine Sears and Chelly McEneany, all of Pittsfield, his 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and his sister Donna Demick.

In addition to his parents, Matt was predeceased by his brother Mark McEneany.

Services will be private for the family.
