Matthew J. Arico

Mr. Matthew John Arico (Matt), age 37, of 10 Greenwood St. in Westfield, Massachusetts, passed away in his home on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

He was the beloved son of John J. and Jacqueline M. Cormier Arico of Hinsdale, Massachusetts, born on May 28, 1985. Matthew received his education from the local schools of Pittsfield and earned his GED in 2003.

Prior to a life-changing accident, he was enrolled in the management trainee program at Dunkin Donuts in the Williamstown, Massachusetts location.

Matthew's greatest joy in life was spending time with his daughter, Madelyn. He cherished their moments together. He was a passionate fan of the Carolina Panthers and the New York Yankees. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music, fishing, art, camping, and playing video games.

He is survived by his parents, John and Jacqueline, of Hinsdale, Massachusetts; his loving daughter, Madelyn D. Arico of Agawam, Massachusetts; his brother, Josh N. Arico, and sister-in-law Amy, as well as his niece, Gianna, and nephew, Dominic, all of Hinsdale.

He is also survived by Alexis Moulton of Agawam, who is his ex-wife and the mother of his daughter, Madelyn.

SERVICES: Visitation for family and close friends will be Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 1-3PM at the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home, 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA 01201.

Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to payable to "Madelyn D. Arico" to be used for later educational expenses and mailed to the funeral home.
