Michael G. Pedro

Mr. Michael G. Pedro, age 67, a resident of Soldier On, Inc. Agawam, MA, died Sunday morning, April 14th at the Renaissance Manor in Holyoke following a long illness. He was born February 6, 1952 in Providence RI, the son of the late George and Agnes Pimental Pedro. He was educated in the local schools and was a graduate of Warren RI High School. Most recently, he was employed as a Manager at the CJ Fox Packaging Co. in Providence.

A US Navy veteran, Michael enjoy fishing the ocean off the coast of Rhode Island.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy Donato and her husband Joseph, of Rumford, RI, his daughter, Audrey Goulet of No. Providence, RI and his other daughter, Nichole Pedro of Riverside, RI. The love of his life, the former Regina Silva, predeceased him in 2011. Her son, Nicholas Scarduzio, of Johnstown, RI, also survives Michael.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 24th at 1:00 pm at Soldier On in Agawam with the Rev. A. Peter Gregory, chaplain of Soldier On, officiating. Inurnment will follow with full military rites in the Columbarium there at the Soldier On campus.
