Nancy A. Roots, 74, of Pittsfield, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 27, 2022.
Mother - Devoted Family Member - Beautiful Wife.
Nancy was an inspiration to so, so many. Graduating from St. Joseph High School she went on to study business at Berkshire Community College. Over her life Nancy's priority was to her large family as well as her loving husband Bob who she met while working at the old MeadWestvaco, Specialty Papers Division as the production planning supervisor in Lee, MA. During her and Bob's many years together, they traveled the country and were always found on the beaches and harbors in Maine, Hawaii and cruising the Caribbean with friends. When not traveling you would always find them together enjoying their time in their backyard gardening and relaxing on their deck with their dog Cooper, where on any given day you would find people visiting.
Nancy leaves behind her daughter Myla Franklin (Ronald) of Pittsfield, MA, sons Eric Christopher (Jennifer) of Washington, D.C., Dean Christopher of Pittsfield, Ryan Christopher of Pittsfield, her brothers Dave Snyder (Ted) of Daytona Beach, FL, Ron Snyder of Calais, VT, Larry Snyder (Colleen) of Florence, MA, sisters Judy Snyder of Portsmouth, NH, and Kim Snyder of Lee, MA, her grandchildren Leah Wheeler (Jon) of Lutherville Timonium, MD, Micaiah Franklin of Pittsfield, Nia Franklin of Pittsfield, Justin Christopher of Pittsfield, Casey Clark of Castle Rock, CO, Alyssa Christopher of Pittsfield, Adriana and Aiden Christopher of Pittsfield, great grandsons Jordan Pero Christopher of Pittsfield, Marston Clark of Castle Rock, great granddaughters Ava and Alena Wheeler of Lutherville Timonium and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded by her former husbands Gerald Dillard, Paul Christopher and Bob Roots, her brother Doug Snyder (Lexy) and parents Willie and Millie (Cullen) Snyder.
Funeral services will be private for Nancy's family and close friends.
