Patricia P Doherty

Patricia P. Doherty, age 76, of 2 Calumet St. Pittsfield, died Sunday, Jan. 6th at the Berkshire Medical Center following a long illness. She was born in Boston, MA on July 8, 1942, the daughter of the late John H. and Mary C. McKinnon Doherty. She graduated from the Julie Billiart High School in the North End. She came to Pittsfield in 1965 to open a Dunkin' Donuts with her husband and brother, John. She later opened the former "Sodie's Donuts" with her husband prior to moving to Nashua, N.H. in 1975. She returned to the area in 1984 and waitressed and managed a couple of local restaurants.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Mary C. Sorensen and her wife, Kristie Dmytryshyn, of Pittsfield, Patrice A. Temblay of Pittsfield and Debra M. Larkin and her partner, Steven Calcasola of Easthampton, MA. Pat also leaves her loving grandchildren, Patrick, Christina, Alice, Colin, Sean and Amber, as well as her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Julianna, Bella, Tristan, Hayleigh, Colton, Scarlett, Rune, and her newest, Oakley . Another son, Joseph J. Sorensen, died Feb. 24, 2005.
Calling hours at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME will be THURSDAY from 4 to 7PM. Funeral services will be held FRIDAY morning at 11:30AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Ashuelot St. Cemetery in Dalton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Moments House in care of the funeral home.
