Patrick James Driscoll

Patrick James Driscoll of Pittsfield and formerly of East Longmeadow died July 12, 2019 due to complications from esophageal cancer. He passed away peacefully at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving twin sons Sean and Liam Driscoll and Annie (Hoves) Driscoll.

He was born in Worcester on October 4, 1957, the beloved son of the late James R. & Mary (Deamer) Driscoll. Raised and educated in East Longmeadow, Patrick was a hard-working man whose talents range from being active in community theater to woodworking projects. His sense of humor and storytelling abilities could entertain his family and friends for hours. Most importantly, Pat's love for his sons brought him to become friends with Bill W for the last 4 years of his life.

Besides his loving sons Sean and Liam of East Longmeadow, Pat leaves behind his former wife Annie (Hoves) Driscoll and her partner Kevin Labbe, his brothers John Driscoll of Cape Cod, James (Joan) Driscoll of Kalispell Montana, and two sisters Mary E Driscoll and Judy (Tim) Bates of East Longmeadow. He will also be missed dearly by his friends as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his loving parents, Patrick was predeceased by his loving sister Maura Driscoll in 2009.

Annie, Liam and Sean would like to thank Dr. Dan Weiner and the Thoracic ICU staff at Brigham and Women's Hospital for their unending dedication and wonderful bedside manner.

Services:  All are invited to join the family for a celebration of Patrick's life on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 175 Wendell Ave, Pittsfield.
