Patrick S. Tuohy

Patrick S. Tuohy, age 42, of 404 Newell St. Pittsfield, died January 4, 2021 at the Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Pittsfield, January 29, 1978, the son of Michael M. Tuohy and the late Carol M. Viau Tuohy. Educated in the local schools he received his GED and then continued his education at Berkshire Community College studying for his degree in Social Work. Initially employed in the field of social service, he was employed as a case worker in Dual Diagnosis at the Brien Center for five years. Most recently, he accepted an appointment to join the First Steps Program at the C.H.D. as a family recovery support specialist for the past two years. Patrick's work was very important to him and he took pride in helping whom ever he crossed paths with.
Sports were a great joy in Patrick's life. He was a fan of the New England Sports teams and loved to coach his son in the various leagues at Belanger Field. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life and he loved nothing more than spending time with them.
In addition to his father, Michael of Pittsfield, he is survived by his step-mother, Diane C. Tuohy of So. Boston, his partner, Lysa L. Ellsworth of Pittsfield, his sons, Nathan Tuohy of Pittsfield, and Shane Tuohy of Becket, his daughters, Bailey Morgan and Brynnley Tuohy, both of Pittsfield and his step-children Logan and Dameion Williams, both Pittsfield, his sister, Mary Jane Gaylord of Freetown, MA and her children Lauren, Brooke and Kamryn, Patrick's brother, Michael Weatherby and his children Alex, Diana and Kristal, and his grandchildren Lilly Tuohy, Noah Tuohy and Willah Fernandez all of Pittsfield.
