Rachele Lynn Carr

Rachele Lynn Carr, age 33, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018 suddenly at her home in Pittsfield.

Rachele was born in Pittsfield on April 1, 1985 the daughter of William J. Carr and Anna M. Brindle Keeler. She was educated in the local schools and attended Pittsfield High School.

Rachele was a total “fashionista,” and most recently was employed as a receptionist at a local hair salon. She loved helping others to feel beautiful, whether she was doing someone’s makeup or hair, or helping them to decide on an outfit.

For the last 7 years, Rachele and her best friend and significant other, Phoenix Jones, have worked side-by-side flipping houses in the Pittsfield area. She had a great talent when it came to the design of the homes they worked on together, and she didn’t mind getting her hands dirty to help in the remodels.

She loved the time she was able to enjoy with her children and family. Rachele was proud to be a mom, and found so much joy in being able to attend her kid’s basketball, baseball, and softball games or practices. She also loved being a "dog mom" to her cane corso named Foreign. He was her baby, and they loved to go on long walks together. She also loved her dad's dogs, Angie and Poochie, and would often talk about the time she spent with them while living at her father's house. 

Besides Phoenix, Rachele is survived by her father, William J. Carr of Berkshire, MA, her mother and stepfather, Anna and Paul Keeler, Jr. of Pittsfield, her two children, Desmond and Autum Cobb of Berkshire, MA, her sister, Leann Keeler (Desean Scales) of Pittsfield, and her brother Paul Keeler, III. She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Rachele Brindle of Burlington, MA, her paternal grandmother, Sheila Carr of Pittsfield, step-grandmother, Gloria Berne of Florida, MA, three uncles, Dan (Shari) Carr of Pittsfield, Joseph Carr Jr. (Jessica) of North Carolina, and Anthony (Lisa) Brindle of Pittsfield, her aunt, Teresa (Kenny) Campbell of Burlington, the father of her children, Jovan "Dunbar" Cobb and many other close relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Rachele were held privately for the family under the direction of the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made directly to the funeral home to assist with funeral costs.
