Ronald Bove

Mr. Ronald Anthony Bove, age 73, of Cheshire Road in Pittsfield died Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Hillcrest Commons after a short illness.
Born in Pittsfield on August 11, 1948, Ronnie was the son of the late Anthony and Rose Bove. He was educated in the local schools and spent his career working in the Maintenance Department of General Electric Company.
Ronnie loved food, especially trying out new restaurants and sharing recipes with friends and family. He also loved dogs- ALL of them, and they loved him too. He enjoyed going to the park and sharing treats with each dog he met. Ronnie also loved wolves, being outdoors and gardening. Over the years, he made many visits to Lake George.
He is survived by his nephews, Tom DuBois and his wife Virginia of Pittsfield and Gary DuBois and his wife Jane of Austin, TX, his great nephews and niece, Brian, Michael, Julian, Zoe and Jude, his companion of over 20 years, Ms. Nancy Hall, his cousin Josephine Kelly, and his lifelong friends David Tarjick and Richard Cobb.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Tom DuBois.
Burial will be private for the family. There will be a celebration of life for Ronnie this summer when it is safer to gather.
