Pittsfield - Susan J. Roy, 64, died Monday, May 8, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center.

She was born in Passaic, New Jersey on June 19, 1952, a daughter of the late George and Betty (Petersen) Keegan. Susan worked for many years doing food preparation. When she was younger, she enjoyed playing softball. Later in life, Susan became a reborn Christian. She was a hard worker to always provide for her children. She was a most excellent cook and enjoyed puzzles of all kinds; especially jigsaw - you could always find one lying around that she was working on. She also enjoyed word finds, cross words, and fill-it in puzzles.

Susan is survived by her 3 children, Mechele Bunt and her significant other Craig Hilton of New York, Natacha Newell and her husband David of South Carolina, and Shawn Roy and his wife Crystal of Pittsfield. She also leaves her three grandchildren, Sydney, Gage, and Olivia Newell, her siblings: David Keegan, Barbara Kasprazak and Sandra Keegan, all of Arizona, and Debra Keegan of New York, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Stan Keegan. 

Services will be Private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis-Reaching Out Foundation, Inc. in care of the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
