Susan Lee Stillman
September 19, 1954 ~ January 19, 2024 (age 69) 69 Years Old
Susan Lee Stillman, age 69, of Pittsfield died on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Berkshire Medical Center after an extended illness.
Susan was born in Springfield, MA on September 19, 1954, a daughter of the late Francis Edward Taskey and Wanda (Sjostrom) Hamel, and stepdaughter of Maurice Joseph Hamel.
She was a graduate of Lee High School and went on to earn her CNA certificate. She worked in numerous care facilities in our community and retired from Side-by-Side Assisted Living following a nearly 40-year career.
Susan met Clifton Mark Stillman in 1991 and the two were married on July 9, 2009, at their home in Pittsfield. She and Cliff enjoyed going for rides and visiting the beaches in Rhode Island. They would also spend time visiting family, shopping the malls and hanging out with their many animals.
She loved spending many summers relaxing by the pool and in the comfort of her own home. After her retirement, Susan found much joy in crocheting, playing games and watching wrestling.
Sue was a kind, caring, loving person that would do anything for anyone. Her biggest joy in life was taking care of others.
In addition to her husband Cliff, Susan is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Lori and Giles Picard, Lenore and Mike Donermeyer, Lynn and Edwin Cruz, Cindy and Norm Picard, Ricky Taskey and Keith Taskey, and many nieces and nephews to include her nephew David Hamill that she was very close with. She was an animal lover and always had a home full of furry friends. She leaves her kitty, Bobette.
In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her aunt Karen that she loved dearly and her closet friend Noreen Reynolds and her favorite dog, Zeus.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be held in the summertime. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to “Berkshire Humane Society” and mailed to the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home at 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA 01201
