Trevor J. Decker, age 40, of Pittsfield passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2020.
Trevor was a hardworking man who always enjoyed keeping busy. He worked for many years for the City of North Adams where he started as summer help and was eventually put on full-time in the transfer station. He also worked for Vets Taxi and most recently spent nearly 15 years working for Mohawk Auto as a driver.
He loved stock car racing, demolition derby and snowmobiling. He also had a love for the dirt race track and fishing. In his 20s, Trevor played on the Men’s Softball League in North Adams.
He was a sweet man with an incredible sense of humor. He was kind to those who knew and helped him and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Franey and his stepfather Michael J. Franey, his siblings, Steven J. Decker of Pittsfield and Melissa J. Decker of North Adams, his daughters, Hannah and Leah Decker of North Adams, and his son Dylan Decker. He also leaves a great number of folks from Pittsfield, especially those involved with Code Blue, who cared deeply about Trevor.
He was predeceased by his father Henry J. Decker in 2014 and his nephew Zackary Decker in 2016.
