Warren "Punky" L. Keeler, Jr.

Warren “Punky” Leon Keeler, Jr., age 81, a resident of Epworth Arms in Pittsfield died peacefully surrounded by his family at Berkshire Medical Center on Thursday, January 5, 2023 after a long battle with Amyloidosis.

Punky was born in Hancock, MA on March 1, 1941 a son of the late Warren L. Keeler, Sr. and Dorothy (Jones) Keeler. He grew up on Bull Hill Rd. in Lanesborough, attended the local schools and went on to serve in the US Navy.

Punky was a Master Carpenter and worked his entire life perfecting his trade. His proudest accomplishment was to pass on his skills to his grandson Jesse.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, candlepin bowling, and enjoyed nothing more than hanging at the bar with his buddies, playing Keno and drinking “7&Coke”

He was survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Robert) Connors and Jayne Stohr, his son Stacy Duclos, step-daughters, Tracy (Matt) Pero and Debra Jean (Oliver) Couter. Punky also leaves his beloved sisters, Carol Keeler and Barbara (Don) Roche, his grandchildren, Jesse (Emily) Rivers, Amanda (Cameron Guillou) Rivers, Katie (Stefan) Ogle, and Benjamin (Mollie Daly) Stohr, his great grandchildren, Patrick, Eden, Daisy, Beau and Elouise, several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

In addition to his parents, Punky was predeceased by two sisters, Beverly (Jack) Silvernail and Joan (Richard) Wilbur and two brothers, Paul “Brush” Keeler, Sr. and Bross “Sonny” Keeler.

SERVICES: Friends are invited to join with Punky’s family at the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home on THURSDAY, January 12, 2023 from 5-7PM with a time of remembrance and sharing to begin at 7PM. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Punky's memory may be made to the "Berkshire Humane Society" and mailed to the funeral home at 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA 01201
