William "Billy" Kingsbury

Mr. William Kingsbury, age 61, of Pittsfield died suddenly on October 18, 2019 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Billy was born in Pittsfield on December 27, 1957, the oldest child of Ronald E. Kingsbury and the late Barbara (Ferguson) Kingsbury. Educated in the local schools, he was a 1976 graduate of Pittsfield High School.

He loved to fish and hunt and was a longtime member of the NRA.

Billy loved gadgets and had one for everything. He also loved listening to his scanners and monitoring what was going on in town.

Billy was also a New York sports fan, and loved the NY Yankees and rooting for the Giants during football season.

In addition to his father Ron, he is survived by his longtime companion, Sue Chapman, his son, James Kingsbury of Pittsfield, and his siblings, Patti Stottle of Dalton and Mike Kingsbury and his fiancé Marcia of Pittsfield. He also leaves his niece Jenna McKeever and her husband Andy of Pittsfield and two nephews, Brandon Kingsbury and Cameron Stottle, both of Dalton, and many other family members and friends who were dear to Billy over the years.

Besides his mother, Billy was predeceased by his niece Morgan Stottle in 1996. 

SERVICES: Friends are invited to join with the family on WEDNESDAY, October 23rd from 5-6PM at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. A funeral service will being at 6PM. Burial will be at a later date.
